It will be alright (Uta x pregnant!human!Reader)

The last months were very hard for you. The pain was terrible and you felt more scared with every morning. The days went so slowly by and all you could do were sitting on the coach in your living room. Mostly you were alone but sometimes your best friend came by. And today was such a day.
The two of you were sitting before the TV watching the news. It was something about a ghoul like so often. Once again there were some dead bodies found. It will never end. The fight between the ghouls and the humans will go on forever.
“Have you ever met one of them?” asked your best friend without looking at you.
“No and I’m glad about it.”

Liar! You were such a liar. You had met a ghoul and this more than once. You met some of them every weekend. But now you hadn’t seen anybody for a long long time. By now it was 7 months. And your heart was broken and your body was dying.
“You have to be on guard. I heard they like pregnant women the most. I can’t lose you and the baby.” your friend said in a lower voice.
A part of you wanted to protest but you know she was right. Of course there would be some crazy ghoul who would love to hunt you. A human will be just the food for a ghoul and nothing more. It’s the most normal thing on the world. Humans eat animals and ghouls eat humans. But does it matter who will be eaten since everybody had to die?
“How are you and the baby doing? What had the doctor said? You don’t look so good.” asked your friend softly wit sorrow in the voice.

“Oh, we are doing well. Mommy is just a little bit tired that’s all.” once again you had to lie. You never visited the doctor because you were afraid. For sure he could do nothing but watch or try to break up the pregnancy. You don’t need anybody to tell you what your child was. It was obviously.
Your little son – you hoped it was a boy – was a ghoul like his daddy.
And he was eating you from the inside. Everybody will tell you for sure to kill the baby. They would say that your life is in danger. That’s why nobody knows about the ghoul part. Even Uta didn’t know. You broke up as fast as you could. All you wanted was having his baby. You didn’t care about yourself.

“I recently thought about Uta. (y/n)… Does he even know? It’s seven months and he still didn’t show up.”
As she said so you bite your lower lip. “No. I can’t say it to him and you know it!” Yeah… Your friend knows Uta a bit since the two of you were a couple for over two years. But of course she never know about him begin a ghoul. Nobody knows. It was your little secret.
“Tell me what’s wrong (y/n)! What have you done? Uta is a nice guy he wants kids for sure. Have you cheated on him?!” The yell was getting louder and louder. You know that your fried thought a lot about it but was afraid of asking you. Uta was a really nice guy. He bought you flowers, took you for a walk, even visited you at your university. He loved you with all his heart.
But you throw it away.

“No I don’t! I would never cheat on him and you know it very well. How could you say something like this?” You yelled with tears in your eyes. These were the most painful words you ever heard.
“Then tell me what’s wrong!”
“He doesn’t want to have a child with me!”
Now it was out. It wasn’t a lie and it wasn’t the full truth either. Just something in the middle.

As you said so you felt a sharp pain in your bottom. And then the light was gone. Just out of nowhere. All you could see was the endless darkness . It was so silent and you felt so heavy. You wanted to sleep. You wanted the pain to end.
When your grandma was dying, you were holding her hand, begging her to stay. You were crying hard and her last words were "It will all be okay." Then you remember watching the light fade out of her eyes, her hand growing cold in your grasp. Every single second you shared with her passed across your mind. Never again would you see her all happy and giggly. Years ago you were afraid of the dead. But right now you know it wasn’t that bay. It felt… good.
Slowly you felt how you fade away. The last smile appeared on your lips only for you to see. And then you heard someone cry out loud. It was a pitch girly voice. Even you never heard it, you know who it was.

You remembered about the little one in your stomach. Why were she crying? Why could you hear it? What… was going on? And then it hit you. You just gave a birth and was dying. Just like that. You would leave your child, your little daughter without seeing her. She will be all alone in this cruel world.
No matter how hard you tried to wake up it was to hard. The last thing  you heard beside the crying of you daughter who was born to fast, was a loud beeping noise. Then it was silent.



“Your mother is a stupid little girl, isn’t she?”
“Mommy will be alright.”
“She had to…”
There he was sitting on the edge of the hospital bed with a sleeping girl in his arms. She had dark hair and light skin just like him but her eyes was like her. She looked just like a normal baby but she wasn’t. This child was a ghoul born by a human. This little baby was his and her kid.
He would rise it the best he could. She would learn to hunt and would help him at the shop. It would be perfect. Would…
“(y/n)… please. Don’t leave me alone. We need you. You had to be the strict mother so that I could be the cool daddy. You can’t go like this…”
There he was sitting on the edge of the bed with tears in his eyes as he took his love hand. He waited for her to wake up. He waited… and waited… and waited... Eventually the door were pushed to the side and a doctor came in. He watched from the corner of the room And Uta know that his love would never call him again. “You know… I don’t even know how to name her.”, he whispered as he pulled his dark glasses on.
Today he could take the baby home since she was doing well. He could only take one of the girls home. His love had to stay there.
And when he was about to leave the room a soft giggle was hearable followed of an “Just don’t name her (y/n) jr. It would be kind of stupid.”
With this he turned around to see his love with half open eyes and a bright smile on her lips.



You would never give up. Not when your family was waiting for you. And now you know how stupid you were. Uta will be a great father for your half-ghoul child. And you would be a great half-ghoul mother. From the day on Uta will have to hunt more food.
Yeah… It will be alright. Right?
