Little Dog (Levi x Reader)

You walked through streets in wall Rose since you had a day of. It felt good to make a break because you worked really hard in the last days. Everything was on your head. Planning, cleaning, helping the recruits and more. Life wasn’t easy here but you loved it. Every time you could help someone you felt so special like if you could change the world. Of course you couldn’t. But still you don’t gave up trying.
All of a sudden you heard a soft and painful whimper of an animal. It wasn’t that far away so you decided to look up on it. So you followed the soft noise till you reached a small carton. It was dirty and the corners were ripped out. In the box you could see a brown dog with a black pup.

“Hey, what’s wrong there?” you asked in calmly voice trying not to scare the two dogs.
As soon as you said so the pup started to cry out lout. Then you saw the problem. The bigger dog did nothing. It laid with closed eyes not even breathing. It hit you hard to see the little pup poke the dog that probably was his mother.
“Hey there little one! Do you want something to eat?” you asked knowing the pup would not answer you. With a sad smile on your lips you sat down beside the box an let the pup sniff on your hand. Then you started to stroke him. To your surprise his fur was very soft.
The pup looked at you with two colored eyes – one brown one blue. All you could see was pain and suffer. What could you do to easy his pain? Nothing. You even didn’t have something to give him to eat.
“If you want we can go together at my place. There it is warm and safe.” And with this said you picked the dog up carefully.



At the base you sneak into your room not wanting anybody to see the little guy. Fore sure Hanji would love him but there still were others. For example Erwin and Levi. Oh Levi will be so mad at you if he sees how dirty the pup was.
“There” you put a bowl with water on the floor beside your little guest. At first he was a bit scarred and you could see that he wanted to go back to his mother, but then he drung some of the water. In this time you got some pate and put in on a small plate. Normally you used it to serve Levi some tea. Oh, he will kill you if he know about it.
“Oi, brat! Have you seen my tie? I can’t find any- what the heck is going on here!” you heard a yell from the door.
Speaking of the devil. This was a sign that the luck never was on your side.
“What the hell a this dog doing in your room (y/n)?!”
“Don’t yell like this Levi! You scare him.” It wasn’t like you to argue with the short man, but right now you just have to. Even if it means to yell at the only important person in your life. Very fast you reached the pup and sat down beside it to protect it. It felt like you had to. Like you were his mother.

“And why have you given him the pate? You know very well that the food is limited. So many people out there have nothing and you give it to a dirty little dog?” Levi looked at you with a hateful look. His words had hurt you but you didn’t want to lose against him.
“Okay, Okay, I understand! I’m not stupid Levi. He became my portion. I’ll just don’t eat anything more today. And this little guy is sleeping with me in my bed!”
You know the last part was overdone but you were so angry at Levi. How could he be so emotionless about animals? They have feelings too.
“You’re so stupid, you know that?” he asked stepping forward then kneeling down to your level. The dog jumped onto your lap in fear of the man.

“Yeah, I know. I was like this all the time. But right now you have to understand my actions. Life isn’t about getting and having, Levi. It’s about giving and being. You taught me this. So please, show that your still human and don’t be so mad at the pup.”
“Tch!” was all Levi made. And with this you thought it was all over with you. He would hate you forever. But still you were proud of yourself. You saved the life of the little pup. If it weren’t you he would die just like his mother.
Suddenly you felt a hand pet your head. Surprised you looked up to see Levi shake his head slowly. “How can I be mad at you brat? Just make him clean and take good care of him.” he sighed.

Then you jumped up with the dog in your hands and kissed his cheek softly. “You’re the best!” you said. Then you gave the dog to Levi, who didn’t know what to do.
“What the-“ he tried to ask but you interrupt him fast with a smirk. “I have to search for your tie~ How about we name him Levi Jr.?”
“No (y/n), just no!”
