You felt warm arms wrap around your waits, so you turned your head to face Uta. He smiled at you before sitting down next to you at the housetop. “How are you feeling?” he asked with a worried look on his face.
“I’m fine. We were fine.” you answered giggling and laying your hand on your round belly.
"(Y/n), come back inside. You'll catch a chill. And so will the baby." Uta hummed, pressing a loving kiss against your cheek. He sounded sleepy and his eyes were half open.
You smiled gently, but didn't move. "Give me 10 minutes. Then I'll go back inside, I swear."
Uta just sighed. He had just woken up and was too sleepy to put up a fight which he would never won. "Why?" He moaned, his hot breath sinking into your skin, his hands around your shoulders spending you warmth.
"Because I want the baby to see the sunrise. She needs to know that the world we live in is beautiful, and that no matter how cruel life is, the sun will always turn the dark into light, into something beautiful. I want her to realize that every day is a miracle, Uta. We both are ghouls. Who knows how long we will stay with her?” As you said so, a small tear run down your face.
Uta kissed the tear away and pulled you stronger to him. “I know (y/n). But it is still cold. I don’t want you to get sick.”
“I won’t get sick from a little chill.” you said leaning your head against his shoulder. “You know, Uta, I don’t want our baby girl to end like Hinami-chan… Why is the world so cruel to us ghouls?”
“I don’t let you die (y/n), so don’t worry. We will be a great family. Do not think about humans right now.” he whispered into your ears in a sweet and carried voice.
“Uta?”
“Yes?”
“You will be a great dad, you know?”
It was true. Uta would be a really good daddy. You don’t have to fear the dead. Even if the investigator would catch you one day the little girl would be save with Uta. For sure you wanted to be a part of the baby’s life, but if it was in dangerous, you would sacrifice yourself for it.
“And you will be a great mom, so don’t be so pessimistic.”
The dark blue of the skies above you became littered with rays of warm yellows, mellow oranges and gentle reds. You watched, wide-eyed and amazed as the morning colors blended and overtook the dark blue of the night, absorbing the shining stars in the process. You watched it most mornings, but it still never ceased to amaze you.
“See, baby?” you whispered to your belly with a gentle smile on your face. “Every day the sun will rise like this.”
“And we will be by your side day by day. When you grow up, we will teach you how to hunt. You will read books with mommy and help daddy with work. And when you are older boys will come with you home and everyone who isn’t good enough for you will be eaten or at least thrown out.”
You looked at Uta with a light confused look. He never said something like this. His words make your heart melt and a smile appeared on your face. You loved him with all your heart and you was so proud you could call him your baby’s father.
“I love you, Uta.”
“I love you too, (y/n). Let us go inside now.”
“Yeah. Let us go in. I’m sleepy now.” And so you let Uta lead you to your bed. You even didn’t remember when you fall asleep. All you know was Uta wrapping his arms around you and pulling you to him.

[Note: Implied steaminess ahead. Please do not continue if offended or uncomfortable]
A moment alone had been long awaited since early that morning. Though exhausted by the time the sun disappeared, neither you or Uta dared to pass up the opportunity to meld together as one. You had been longing for it since his cold fingers traced the contour of your spine and awoke you from you slumber.
Your body was flush against his front, limbs were entangled. Nimble fingers brushed over your blushed skin, while one hand encircled both of your wrists above your head. An exchange of names breathlessly passed through each of your mouths, lips moving in

Shadows [Blind!Daddy!Levi x Mommy!Reader]
“Nn, get off me, woman.”
With nothing more than a whimper for reply, you rolled over on your side, relieving your husband’s squished arm. Flecks of her hair still draped over the tingling skin, but he honestly didn’t mind your closeness. He knew dawn approached from the twittering of the birds in the rustling trees and his own body clock. For a majority of his young adult life, he awoke twice regularly each night: once, at one o’clock, the second, just at daybreak, when the sun turned the bridge of the horizon a soft pink, purple and deep blue. Sometimes, a nightmare triggered his waking. Other times, it was his
